I. OBJECTIVES

1. Knowledge and skills

By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:

  • Use question words before to-infinitives to express indirect questions.
  • Understand and use some common phrasal verbs related to the local community.

2. Competences

  • Identify and accurately use question words before to-infinitives in various contexts.
  • Guess the meaning of phrasal verbs based on the main verbs and apply them correctly.

Step 2: Students perform learning tasks

- Students do the exercise individually on their digital devices.

- Teacher invites some students to fill in the correct words on the interactive smart TV.

- Requirement: You MUST use at least ONE “question word + to-infinitive” and ONE “phrasal verb”.

- Teacher shares a Padlet link for final submission.

Step 2: Students perform learning tasks

- Students draft their sentences individually.

- Before submitting, students prompt an AI Chatbot (E.g. ChatGPT/Gemini) to review their draft for better vocabulary and grammatical accuracy.
