Ss : Learn the old lesson, prepare Unit 1: My time (Vocabulary – Where we spend time)

3. Goal: Motivate ss to interest in the topic of the lesson and create the fun atmosphere before starting the new lesson.
4. Content : Talk about "Favourite places”
5. Expected result: Ss can understand the lesson and use the road well.

- What are your favorite places?

- Where do you spend most of your time?

Then T elicits from individual students what their favorite places are and where they spend time.

A: What are your favourite places in town?

Amelia: When i’m with my friends in town, we spend most of our times in shops. Sometimes, we go to the fast-food restaurants.

2. Elijah

A : What’a bout when you’re at home? Do you stay in your room a lot?

Elijah: Yes, i quite like being alone sometimes. So I spend the best of time in my room, usually when I come home from school

A: Do you stay in bed later at the weekend?

Renee: No, I don’t spend a lot of time in bed. I go to school on Saturday morning and on Sunday I don’t spend anytime in bed. I prefer to get to do something: see friends, do sports, watch TV, that kinds of things

A: Are you online a lot?

Harry: Quite a lot, I suppose yes. My parents say I spend too much time in front of screen. I use my phone alot and then my computer. That’s homework but I play game on it too

Darius: When there’re a lot of traffic. I spend about 40 minutes on the bus getting to school. It’s a long time

Darius: I spend all of my time on my phone
