d. Organization:

Step 1: Teacher assigns learning tasks

- Teacher assigns the homework project and sets the context for a simulated international cooperation event.

- Mission Brief:Imagine you are an official delegate representing your hometown (or River City) at the 'Global Sustainable Cities Summit'. Your objective is to deliver a short, persuasive speech to an international committee of investors to show them how much your city has developed and why they should invest in it.

- Requirements:

+ Write a 1-minute speech (about 100 - 120 words).

+ The speech must have a formal structure (Introduction of yourself and the city, Body paragraphs detailing the changes, and a Conclusion inviting cooperation).

+ You must use at least 3 vocabulary words from the lesson (e.g., high-rise buildings, busy streets, modern), the present perfect tense to describe what has been built, and double comparatives to emphasize ongoing growth.

- Students must record this speech as a formal video pitch (Vlog) and upload it to the class's shared Google Drive folder.

- Teacher explicitly encourages students to use an AI writing assistant (e.g., Grammarly,…) to check their draft for a formal, professional tone before recording.

Step 2: Students perform learning tasks

- Students copy the mission brief into their notebooks.

- The teacher observes, guides, and supports the students by answering any questions regarding the formal tone or structure expected for the speech.

- Students draft the speech, interact with AI to refine the grammar and tone, and then film their 1-minute video pitch at home.

Step 3: Reporting and Discussion

- Teacher plays 2-3 outstanding video pitches from the shared cloud folder in front of the class.

Step 4: Evaluation

- Teacher praises students' creativity, correct use of vocabulary, and accurate grammar in the context of formal speaking.
