UNIT 6: OUR TET HOLIDAY
LOOKING BACK AND PROJECT
I. OBJECTIVES
1. Knowledge and skills
By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
- Revise the vocabulary items about Tet and Tet activities they have learnt in the unit.
- Revise the use of should / shouldn't for advice and some / any for amount in context.
- Apply the vocabulary and grammar to design and present a project about their dream Tet holiday.
2. Competences
General competences:
- Self-control and independent learning: actively participate in revising vocabulary and grammar rules.
- Communication and collaboration: work in pairs or groups to complete exercises and present the final project.
Specific competences:
- Accurately use should/shouldn't to describe polite behavior during Tet.
- Confidently present a creative project about Tet to the class.

III. PROCEDURES
1. WARM-UP
a. Objective: To activate students' prior knowledge, create an energetic atmosphere, and review vocabulary related to Tet.
b. Content: Teacher organizes a digital guessing game called "AI Tet Memory".
c. Product: Students recall and identify Tet activities and items.
d. Organization:
Step 1: Teacher assigns learning tasks
- Teacher tells the class that they will play a quick game to review vocabulary before doing the Looking Back section.
- Teacher uses an AI Image Generator to create a complex picture containing various Tet elements (e.g., peach flowers, a family eating banh chung, a child getting lucky money, fireworks in the window).
- Teacher projects the image and asks Ss to interact with AI-generated images to explore visual elements and spot the vocabulary words they have learned in Unit 6.
- Teacher sets up a live poll (E.g., Mentimeter) for students to input the words they can find.
Step 2: Students perform learning tasks
