a. Objective: To write a passage of about 30 words about personal information using prompts.

b. Organisation:

- Teacher tells the class they will write about themselves based on 4 prompts: Name, address, free-time activities, future job.

- Teacher demonstrates on the smartboard how to use a kid-friendly AI chatbot to generate vocabulary ideas for "free-time activities" and "future jobs" if they are stuck.

- Teacher writes the first sentence on the board (My name is ___.) and asks pupils to complete it.

- Give pupils time to write the full passage in their books.

- Invite a few pupils to read their passages aloud.

 

 

 

 

- Pupils read the writing prompts.

Activity 2: Complete the table about jobs

a. Objective: To complete a table about jobs, workplaces and job activities.

b. Organisation:

- Teacher tells pupils: They need to use their knowledge of jobs or information in Activity 1 to complete the table.

- Teacher writes the table headings Jobs, Working places and Activities on the board. Point to each heading and have pupils give examples (e.g., doctor, hospital, help people).

- Have a pupil read the first row aloud (teacher, school, teach children). Complete the second row with the class as an example: point to actor and ask Where does an actor work? and What does an actor do?. Write answers on the board.

- Have pupils work independently to complete the rest of the table.

- Get pupils to check answers in pairs, then check as a class. Accept any reasonable answers about working places and activities.

b. Organisation:

- Tacher converts the mini-quiz into an interactive online game (e.g., Quizizz, Blooket, or kenhhoctap) and projects the game PIN on the board.

- Teacher reminds pupils not to use their real full names online and instructs them to use a safe nickname to join the quiz.
