LESSON 8: LOOKING BACK AND PROJECT
I. OBJECTIVES
1. Knowledge and skills
By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
- Revise the stress pattern in two-syllable words with the same spelling.
- Revise adjectives ending in -ed, -ing, -ful, and -less and words related to the topic of community development.
- Revise the use of the past simple and past continuous with when and while.
- Develop research and collaboration skills and practise giving an oral presentation about a volunteer project.

- Communication and collaboration: work in groups to prepare and deliver a presentation, and provide peer assessment.

- Teacher asks the students to watch an AI-generated video designed to support the lesson and answer the questions that appear in the video.
- Teacher divides the class into small groups of 4.
- Teacher introduces the mission via a digital interactive polling platform (e.g., Mentimeter or Quizizz) displayed on the smart TV: I have 5 secret words related to our unit. Read the clues on your screens and type the secret words.
- Teacher projects the 5 clues on the screen.
