d. Organization:
| TEACHER'S AND STUDENTS' ACTIVITIES | EXPECTED PRODUCTS | DIGITAL SKILL |
Step 1: Teacher assigns learning tasks - Teacher asks Ss to look at the pictures and the incomplete words.
- Teacher demonstrates with the example by asking Ss to guess what the picture shows and elicits the answer from Ss. - Teacher reminds Ss these words are from Unit 4 and 5. Step 2: Students perform learning tasks - Ss work individually (or in pairs for weaker classes) to work out the missing letters. - If students struggle, teacher allows them to use a digital dictionary app on their smartphones to search for the words using context clues. - The teacher observes, guides, and supports. Step 3: Reporting and Discussion - Teacher calls some Ss to write their answers on the board. - Other Ss comment. Step 4: Evaluation - Teacher checks the answers, elicits the meanings of the words again, and asks Ss to read the full sentences aloud. - Teacher moves on to the next content. | Key: 1. devices, communicate 2. donate, volunteer

b. Content: Ss read a short text about accidental inventions and discoveries, and circle the correct grammar options.
c. Product: Correctly circled grammar options in the text.
d. Organization:
| TEACHER'S AND STUDENTS' ACTIVITIES | EXPECTED PRODUCTS | DIGITAL SKILL |
Step 1: Teacher assigns learning tasks - Teacher explains the context of the text: New ideas are usually results of planning, but sometimes accidents lead to useful inventions. - Ask Ss to look at the pictures and guess what inventions they are (Gravity, Penicillin, Popsicles).
Step 2: Students perform learning tasks - Ss read the passage and choose the correct answers. - In weaker classes, teacher may briefly review the uses of the targeted grammar points on the board before they start. Step 3: Reporting and Discussion - Teacher asks Ss to share their answers with a partner. - Teacher calls on individual Ss to read the sentences with their chosen answers and explain the grammar rule applied. - Teacher then projects a Generative AI tool (e.g., ChatGPT) on the screen. Teacher asks a student to input a prompt into the AI (e.g., "Explain why 'was sitting' is correct instead of 'sat' in this context"). Step 4: Evaluation - Teacher checks answers with the whole class, explaining why a specific tense or verb form is used. - Teacher and Ss read the AI's explanation and analyze how the AI justifies the grammar rules compared to their textbook knowledge. - Teacher moves on to the next content. | Key: 1. find 2. Discovering 3. was sitting 4. fell 5. was cleaning 6. discovered 7. have used 8. to make 9. making

Step 2: Students perform learning tasks
- Ss complete the writing and AI image generation at home.
- Teacher gives a quick example orally: While I was cleaning my room, I dropped a piece of metal and a magnet. I discovered a new way to pick up trash...
- Sample Diary Entry (for Teacher's reference):
Dear Diary,
You won't believe what happened today! While I was washing the dishes, I accidentally dropped a sponge into a mixture of baking soda and lemon juice. Suddenly, it started to glow! I realized I had discovered a completely new glowing cleaning device. The process was absolutely fascinating. I was so excited! Up to now, I have cleaned the whole kitchen in the dark. It is extremely useful and not useless at all. I think I will show it to my science teacher tomorrow!
Step 3: Reporting and Discussion
- In the next lesson, Ss present their digital diaries and AI images.
- The class will vote for the "Most Creative Accidental Invention".
Step 4: Evaluation
- Teacher notes that the diary will be graded based on creativity, correct use of tenses, and vocabulary.
