1. WARM-UP

a. Objective: To create an energetic atmosphere, activate prior vocabulary about jobs and actions, and lead into the review lesson.

b. Organisation: 

- Teacher greets the class.

- Teacher asks the students to watch an AI-generated video designed to support the lesson and answer the questions that appear in the video.

- Teacher divides the class into 2 teams.

- Teacher invites one volunteer to the front and secretly shows them a flashcard of a job (e.g., doctor, firefighter, teacher, reporter).

- The pupil must mime the typical actions of that job without speaking (e.g., using a stethoscope, holding a fire hose, holding a microphone).

- Teacher asks the class: "What does he/she do?"

- The first team to guess the correct job (e.g., "He's a firefighter!") gets a point.

- To bridge into the lesson, Teacher asks a follow-up question: "Where does a firefighter work?" (Expect: "At a fire station").

- Teacher asks pupils to open their books at page 42 and look at Extension activities, Activity 1. Tell pupils what they will do today.

- Pupils greet the teacher.

- Students watch the AI-generated video and answer the questions about it.

- Pupils listen to the rules and get ready to play.

- Selected pupils come to the front and act out the professions enthusiastically.

- Pupils observe their classmates' actions carefully and shout out the correct job vocabulary.

- Pupils answer the follow-up questions to recall workplaces.

- Pupils open their books and prepare for the extension activities.

Activity 2: Complete the table about jobs.

a. Objective: To complete a table about jobs, workplaces and job activities.

b. Organisation:

- Teacher tells pupils the goal of the activity: They need to use their knowledge of jobs or information in Activity 1 to complete the table.

- The teacher creates a collaborative digital table (e.g., using Padlet or a shared Google Doc) and shares the link to the pupils' tablets. The table is divided into groups.

- Teacher writes the table headings Jobs, Working places and Activities on the board. Point to each heading in turn and have pupils give examples that fit the categories, e.g., doctor, gardener; hospital, garden; help people, water the flowers.

- Teacher has a pupil read the first row of the table aloud: teacher, school, teach children. Complete the second row with the class as an example. Point to actor and ask, "Where does an actor work?" (a theatre). Then ask, "What does an actor do?" (e.g., act and tell stories). Write these answers on the board.

- Teacher has pupils work independently to complete the rest of the table.

- Teacher gets pupils to check their answers in pairs, then checks as a class. Write the correct answers on the board, accepting any reasonable answers about working places and activities.

- Teacher moves on to the next content.

- Pupils look at the incomplete table in their tablet.

- Pupils select routine digital tools by accessing the shared collaborative document on their tablets, preparing to work together with their group members in real-time.

- Pupils brainstorm and call out examples for each category to ensure they understand the column headers.

- Pupils look at the first row as an example. Pupils answer the teacher's questions to jointly complete the second row about the 'actor'.

- Pupils work independently to fill in the missing information for the remaining rows.

- Pupils check answers in pairs.

- Pupils check answers with the teacher and write down the correct information.

- Teacher distributes a mini-worksheet to the class.

Task 2: Choose the correct answer A, B, or C.

- Teacher asks pupils to read the 5 questions carefully and choose the correct answer (A, B or C).

- Pupils receive the printed worksheets.

- Pupils work independently to connect the three columns, logically linking the profession to where they work and what they do.
