1. WARM-UP

a. Objective: To create an energetic learning atmosphere, revise holiday activities, and lead into the new lesson.

b. Organisation: 

- Teacher greets the class.

- Teacher asks the students to watch an AI-generated video designed to support the lesson and answer the questions that appear in the video.

- Teacher divides the class into 2 teams.

- Teacher invites a pupil from Team A to the front and secretly shows a flashcard or whispers a holiday activity (e.g., swimming, skiing, taking photos, riding a horse).

- The pupil must act out the activity without speaking.

- The class asks: "What is he/she doing?"

- The first team to guess correctly (e.g., "He is skiing!") gets a point. Teacher then asks: "Is skiing a beach holiday or a winter holiday?" to introduce the categorisation concept.

- Teacher asks pupils to open their books at page 76 and look at Extension activities, Activity 1. Tell pupils what they will learn in this lesson.

- Pupils greet the teacher.

- Students watch the AI-generated video and answer the questions about it.

- Pupils listen to the rules and get ready to play.

- Selected pupils come to the front and act out the holiday activities enthusiastically.

- Pupils observe carefully and shout out the correct activities.

- Pupils answer the teacher's follow-up questions to distinguish between different types of holidays.

Activity 2: Answer the questions about your last holiday.

a. Objective: To write details about a holiday.

b. Organisation:

- Teacher tells pupils the goal of this activity: They need to answer five questions about their last holiday.

- Have five pupils read the questions aloud (1. Where did you go? 2. What kind of holiday was it? 3. Who did you go with? 4. What did you do? 5. Did you enjoy the holiday? Why (not)?).

- Each time, provide a sample answer and write your answer on the board (e.g., I went to Nha Trang). Then ask some pupils the questions and have them reply aloud, providing support where necessary. Elicit some further reasons for enjoying or not enjoying a holiday and write them on the board (I had fun / it was very cold / I love hiking).

- Tell pupils that they need to write in full sentences. Give them time to complete the activity independently.

- Have pupils check their answers in pairs before checking some of their answers as a class.

- Teacher moves on to the next content.

- Pupils listen to the task goal.

- 5 pupils read the questions aloud for the class to hear.

- Pupils observe the teacher's model sentences.

- Selected pupils practice answering the questions verbally based on their own experiences.

- Pupils work independently, writing full sentences in their books about their real past holidays.

b. Organisation:

- Teacher distributes a mini-worksheet to each pupil.

- Teacher asks pupils to read the 5 questions carefully and choose the correct answer (A, B or C).
