1. WARM-UP a. Objective: To create interest, engage students, and review the vocabulary (ball, book, bike) to smoothly lead into the main lesson. b. Organisation: - Teacher greets the class. - Teacher asks the students to watch an AI-generated video designed to support the lesson and answer the questions that appear in the video. - Teacher introduces a game called "The Mystery Bag". - Teacher prepares a non-transparent bag containing three real items: a ball, a book, and a small toy bike. - Teacher invites 3 pupils to come to the front, reach into the bag without looking, feel an object, and guess its name in English. - Teacher reveals the item and asks the whole class to call out the word loudly (e.g., "A ball!"). - The teacher uses an AI voice recognition tool (eg., Native Speech,...) on the interactive smart screen. When the class calls out the basic target vocabulary ("ball", "bike", or "book"), the teacher guides them to speak clearly into the microphone so the AI can verify the pronunciation.
- Teacher introduces the lesson: Unit 1, Lesson 2. |
- Pupils greet the teacher. - Students watch the AI-generated video and answer the questions about it.
- Pupils actively participate in the game.
- Selected pupils feel the objects and guess the vocabulary words.
- The whole class observes, cheers, and says the words aloud. - Pupils speak the fundamental target words ("ball", "bike", "book") into the microphone, interacting with the AI tool to receive real-time, automated visual feedback (e.g., a digital green tick) on their pronunciation. - Pupils listen to the teacher's introduction to the new lesson. |

Draw pupils’ attention to the boxes next to the letters a and b. Check comprehension.
- Encourage some pupils to point to the pictures and say the words in front of the class (saying Point to the pictures and say, please!). E.g. 1a: a ball, 1b: a bike. - Play the recording from sachmem.net of the first sentence for pupils to listen. Before playing the recording, say Now look at the pictures in Question 1. Did you hear "a ball" or "a bike"? Yes, it said "a bike". You heard "a bike". Point to the tick √ and ask pupils, saying What do you see? You see a tick? Yes, it's a tick, a tick here to show that the recording said "a bike". After you hear "a bike" and you tick the box b, you give the right answer. So b is the correct answer. - Ask pupils to look at the last two pictures and listen. Say Now look at the pictures in Question 2. Listen and tick the correct box. Before playing the recording, say Are you ready? OK, now listen, please! Play the recording (several times, if necessary) for pupils to listen and tick the box. - Ask pupils to say what they have heard and ticked. Say What did you hear? Did you hear "a ball" or "a book"? If some pupils say "a ball", let them listen to the recording again, saying Now listen again, please! and play the recording. Ask What did you hear?
