1. WARM-UP

a. Objective: To create a joyful atmosphere, revise the learned vocabulary, and physically engage pupils before the new lesson.

b. Organisation: 

- Teacher greets the class. 

- Teacher asks pupils to stand up and gently shake their hands to get ready.

- The teacher operates an interactive digital smartboard to display animated contexts and taps the digital bubbles on the screen to play the corresponding audio.

- Remind pupils of what they have learnt in Lesson 2 by asking the class to sing the chant again.

- Teacher calls out the words they learned (head, hair, hand) randomly and at different speeds.

- Pupils must quickly point to or touch the correct part of their body. If the teacher says "horse", pupils pretend to ride a horse.

- Tell pupils to open their books and look at Lesson 3. 

- Pupils greet the teacher.

- Pupils stand up and get ready.

- Pupils select simple digital technologies to interact by stepping up to the smartboard and tapping the screen to hear the dialogue.

- Pupils sing the chant from Lesson 2 and clap their hands.

- Pupils listen carefully to the teacher's words.

- Pupils react quickly to touch their head, hair, hand, or pretend to ride a horse.

- Pupils laugh and enjoy the quick movements.

- Pupils open their books to Lesson 3.

Activity 7: Let's talk.

a. Objective: Pupils will be able to express a command using "Touch your ______."

b. Organisation:

- Teacher has pupils look at the first picture. Say Look at Picture a, please! Point to the girl's hair and ask What's this? Elicit It's hair. Follow the same procedure with the other pictures.

- Teacher   asks pupils to use the structure in the bubble "Touch your ____." and Picture a to express a command: Touch your hair. Get them to repeat individually and in chorus.

- Teacher   follows the same procedure with the other pictures. Encourage pupils to use gestures and facial expressions when saying the sentence.

- Teacher   asks pupils to work in pairs or in groups to practise expressing a command.

- Teacher   selects some pairs of pupils to practise expressing a command in front of the class. 

- Teacher moves on to the next content.

- Pupils observe the pictures and identify the items (hair, hand, head, horse).

- Pupils combine the structure and the word to make a full command: "Touch your hair."

- Pupils practice with the other words, using physical gestures: "Touch your hand. Touch your head. Touch your horse."

- Pupils work in pairs, taking turns giving and acting out the commands.

- Volunteer pairs perform the activity in front of the class.

Activity 8: Let's sing!

a. Objective: Pupils will be able to sing a song with the structure "Touch your ______."

3. PRACTICE

a. Objective: To consolidate the sentence pattern "Touch your..." and word recognition through a very basic and focused completion format suitable for Grade 1.

b. Organisation:

Mission 1: "Choose and Do"

- Teacher uses the smartboard to project a digital version of this task.  

- Teacher guides pupils to look at the picture, pick the correct word, and write it on their mini-whiteboards.

- Give pupils 2 minutes to complete the task.

- Check answers as a class by asking pupils to hold up their boards, then read the completed sentences aloud together and do the action.

Mission 2: Complete the quiz (optional).

- Teacher sends link the quiz on website kenhhoctap: https://kenhhoctap.edu.vn/page/day-du-cac-tai-lieu for student to perform.

- Teacher gives pupils 5 minutes to choose the correct answer.

- Teacher calls out pupils to share their answers and explain the correct ones.

- Teacher monitors and offers support.

- Teacher asks fast finishers to read the completed words aloud to their partners.

- Teacher moves on to the next content.

- Pupils look at the screen, pictures and sentences. 

- Pupils choose the correct words and write them down on their mini-whiteboards.
