Activity 6: Listen and repeat.

a. Objective: Pupils will be able to listen and repeat the sentence "I like milk."

b. Organisation:

- Teacher has pupils look at the picture of a boy holding a carton of milk. Explain the meaning of the sentence "I like milk." in the bubble and how it is used to talk about someone's favourite drinks. 

- Teacher displays the digital version of the textbook on the interactive smartboard.

- Teacher plays the recording several times for pupils to listen and repeat the sentence, saying Now listen and repeat, please!

- Teacher activates an AI pronunciation checker on the smartboard.

- Teacher asks pupils to work in pairs, point to and repeat the sentence "I like milk." Go around and correct pronunciation.

- Teacher moves on to the next content.

- Pupils look at the picture and listen to the teacher's explanation.

- Pupils focus on the smartboard.

- Pupils listen to the audio and repeat the sentence in chorus.

- Selected pupils interact with the AI software.

Activity 8: Let's sing!

a. Objective: Pupils will be able to sing a song using the structure "I like ______."

b. Organisation:

- Teacher  has pupils look at the lyrics to get familiarised with the first verse (favourite food: fish and chips of the boy with dark curly hair). Play the recording several times for pupils to repeat line after line.- Teacher  follows the same procedure for the second verse.

- Teacher uses an AI Music Generator app to play a customized instrumental beat to make singing more exciting.

- Teacher  has pupils listen to the whole song, drawing attention to pronunciation, stress, and melody. Say Now listen to the whole song, please!

- Let pupils practise singing the song line by line first. Then help them sing the whole song until they feel confident.

- Teacher  selects some groups/pupils to the front to sing. The class may sing along and clap their hands. Praise them: Fantastic! or Superb!

- Teacher moves on to the next content.

- Pupils read the lyrics of the first verse and repeat line by line.

- Pupils read and repeat the second verse.

- Pupils listen to the modified musical track.

a. Objective: To playfully apply the target structure to personal preferences, building confidence in speaking.

b. Organisation:

Mission: "My Food Menu"

- Teacher gives each pupil a blank piece of paper (or asks them to use their mini-whiteboards).

- Ask pupils to quickly draw ONE food or drink they really like (it can be from the lesson: fish, chips, chicken, milk).

- Teacher models the activity: Holds up a drawing of chicken, smiles, and says: "Hi! I like chicken!"

- Invite pupils to stand up, walk around the class, show their "menu" to 3 different friends, and say "I like...".

- Call 3-4 confident pupils to come to the front, show their drawings to the whole class, and introduce their favourite food.

- Teacher and the whole class clap and say "Yummy!" to encourage them.
