2. PRESENTATION

Activity 6: Listen and repeat.

a. Objective: Pupils will be able to listen and repeat the sentence "There's a garden."

b. Organisation:

- Teacher  has pupils look at the picture of a garden and say What is it? It's a garden. Point to the picture and say There's a garden. Play the recording for pupils to listen. Explain the meaning of the sentence and how it is used to introduce a garden.

- Teacher displays the interactive digital lesson on the smartboard.

- Teacher  plays the recording several times again for pupils to listen and repeat the sentence, saying Now listen and repeat, please!

- Teacher invites a few pupils to repeat the sentence "There's a garden." in front of the class. Go around and praise them, if they performed well.

- Teacher moves on to the next content.

- Pupils look at the picture and listen to the teacher's explanation.

- Pupils direct their attention to the digital content on the smartboard.

- Pupils listen to the audio and repeat the sentence in chorus and individually.

- Selected pupils stand up and confidently say "There's a garden."

- Pupils receive positive feedback from the teacher.

Activity 8: Let's sing!

a. Objective: Pupils will be able to sing a song with the structure "There's a ______ in the garden."

b. Organisation:

- Teacher  has pupils read the first verse to get familiarised with the lyrics.

- Teacher plays the recording several times for pupils to repeat line after line.

- Teacher  follows the same procedure with the second verse. Correct pronunciation, rhythm, and melody.

- Teacher uses an AI Music Generator to play the song with a different, upbeat instrumental backing track to increase engagement.

- Teacher  has pupils listen to the whole song, drawing attention to pronunciation, stress, and melody.

- Let pupils practise singing the whole song. Praise them when they perform well.

- Teacher  invites some pupils to sing in front of the class. The rest of the class sings along and claps their hands to reinforce the rhythm.

- Teacher moves on to the next content.

- Pupils read the lyrics of the first verse.

- Pupils listen and repeat line by line.

4. APPLICATION

a. Objective: To playfully apply the target structure to a creative, personalized context, building confidence in speaking.

b. Organisation:

Mission: "Look at my Garden!"

- Teacher gives each pupil a pre-printed paper with a drawing of a big, empty garden (just grass and some flowers).

- Teacher gives pupils 1 minute to quickly draw ONE thing they want in their garden (e.g., a gate, a goat, or a girl).

- Teacher models the activity: Holds up a paper with a goat drawn inside, smiles, and introduces it: "Look! There's a goat in the garden!"

- Invite pupils to stand up, walk around the class, show their drawing to 3 different friends, and introduce their picture using the structure.

- Call 3-4 confident pupils to come to the front to present their garden to the whole class.

- Teacher and the whole class clap to encourage them.
