1. WARM-UP

- Teacher organizes a quick game of "Simon Says" focusing on simple body parts.

Activity 1: Look, listen and repeat

a. Objective: To understand and correctly repeat the sentences in two communicative contexts (pictures) focusing on giving instructions.

Activity 2: Listen, point and say

a. Objective: To correctly say the words and use Touch your ___! and Open your ___! to give instructions.

b. Organisation:

- Teacher has pupils look at the pictures and elicit the actions and the body parts.

- The teacher introduces a simple AI-powered educational app on a tablet that uses the camera to identify and pronounce body parts using object-recognition AI.

- Teacher has pupils point at Picture a (a girl touching her hair), listen to the recording and repeat the words (touch / hair). Teacher repeats the same procedure with the other three pictures and has the class repeat the words a few times.

- Teacher points at the first bubble and has pupils listen and repeat after the recording.

- Teacher points at the second bubble and has pupils listen and repeat after the recording.

- Teacher repeats the same procedure by modelling the sentence patterns for Pictures b and d.

- Teacher has pairs practise giving the instructions using the pictures.

- Teacher invites a few pairs to point at the pictures and give the instructions in front of the class.

- Pupils look at the pictures and describe the actions/body parts.

- Teacher checks answers together as a class.

- Teacher moves on to the next content.

- Pupils observe the pictures and identify the actions.

a. Objective: To practise using target sentence patterns by playing the game Touch your hair! and extending it to a fun physical coordination task.

b. Organisation:

- Teacher elicits the language that pupils need to give instructions (Touch your ___! and Open your ___!) and writes the language on the board.

- Teacher explains the rule of the game: a boy / girl standing in the centre gives an instruction and other pupils have to follow it. If a pupil does not follow the instruction, he or she will be "out".

- Teacher monitors, praises the pairs with the fastest reflexes, and highlights excellent pronunciation.

- Teacher moves on to the next content.

- Pupils recall the target language and observe it on the board.

- Pupils listen to the rules of the game.

- Pupils pair up and assign roles.

- Pupils swap roles after 3 turns.

Mission: Role-play "The Little Doctors"

- Teacher divides the class into pairs: Pupil A is the "Doctor" and Pupil B is the "Patient".

- Teacher distributes a small "Health Check Card" to each pair.

- Teacher invites 2-3 pairs to come to the front of the class to role-play their "Clinic" scene. Encourage pupils to use props (like a toy stethoscope or a paper doctor's hat) if available to make it more fun.

- Teacher praises the pairs with the fastest reflexes and good pronunciation.

* CONSOLIDATION

- Teacher reviews and summarizes the main points of the lesson.

* ADVICE

- Practice reading the chant aloud at home.

- Complete the home application task.

- Prepare for Unit 4 – Lesson 3.

- Pupils practice in pairs. The "Doctor" gives 3 to 4 quick instructions. If the "Patient" performs the action correctly, the "Doctor" ticks the box on the card.
