UNIT 1: MY SCHOOL

LESSON 7: LOOKING BACK& PROJECT

I. OJECTIVES: 

1. Knowledge:By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:

- Recycle the language from the previous sections and links with the topics.

- PRACTICE doing some exercises to consolidate and apply what they have learnt in Unit 1

+ Vocabulary: School lexical items

+ Grammar: Present simple tense, adverbs of frequency

2.Competences

+ Develop communicative competence, discovery, cooperation compentence and thinhking compentence.

+ Use the lexical items related to “School”.

3. Quality:       

- Cooperation, respect, having right and friendly attitudes with friends, teachers in the new school

II. TEACHING AIDS.

T : Textbook, lesson plan, a projector, a laptop

S: Learn the old lesson, prepare Unit 1: Looking back

III. Procedure

1. WARM UP: ( 5’)

a. Goal: Review school vocabulary and TV programmes

b. CONTENTS: Ss talk about their school

c. Expected result:Ss can tell about their school 

d. Performance

- T. asks Ss to talk about their school

- T gets feedback 

2. PRESENTATION : Vocabulary  (10’)

a. Goal: Review all vocabularies related to the new school they have learnt

b. CONTENTS:   Sts can remember all the words they’ve learnt in unit 1 related to “New school”.

c. Expected result: understanding  and using the words correctly

3. PRACTICE : (10’)

a. Goal:  Briefly recall the Conjunctions and wh-words.  Use and form of the Conjunctions and wh-question

b. CONTENTS: Sts use a question word to make suitable question and use the  conjunctions to connect the sentences. 

c. Expected result: understanding  and using conjunctions and Wh-question correctly

4. PRODUCTION: (10’) - PROJECT

a. Goal: to introduce to Ss a new way of leaning and practising the language and knowledge they have gained to do a project. This also prepare Ss to learn to work in the team effectively

b. CONTENTS :   Sts use the the question words to talk about their dream school

c. Expected result: Sts can talk about their dream school

 d. Performance:
