2. PRESENTATION : 

Activity 1: ( 10’) 

a. Goal: Help Ss to review possessive case

b. CONTENTS : Ss recall the form, use, signals of possessive case

c. Expected result: Ss can make sentences using possessive case

d. Performance:

Step 1: Transfering the learning task

-Have Ss look at the Remember! box about the possessive case. Explain to them that there are a few

different ways to show possession, and this unit just focuses on one. Ask Ss to read the Remember! box.

-Tell them that we only need to put ‘s (an apostrophe and an s) after a proper name or a singular noun

to show possession. 

Step 2: Performing the task

- Ss listen to teacher and take notes 

Step 3: Discussion

- Ask Ss to give some examples 

Step 4: Conclusion

- T and other Ss give comments 

1. The possessive case.

Name’s noun = Nam’s pen

Singular noun’s noun = teacher’s book

* Usage: 

- We use ‘s after a proper name

+ This is Elena’s  room

• We use ‘s after a singular noun

+ This is my mum’s book

Activity  2: ( 10’) Prepositions of place

a. Goal: Help Ss to idenntify diferrent prepositions of place

b. CONTENTS : Prepositions of place

c. Expected result: Ss can make sentences base on situations.

Step 1: Transfering the learning task

- T: Writes the word ' Prepositions off place ' on the board and asks Ss what they know about this form.

-T give some example about Prepositions of place

- Ss: Look at these examples

- T call some Ss to give example of Prepositions of place

Step 4: Conclusion

- T and other Ss give comments

-T asks Ss to do exercise individually and then compare their answer with a classmate

Step 2: Performing the task

-Ss work individually to complete the tasks

-T calls on two Ss to write their answers on the board
