UNIT 11: OUR GREENER WORLD
LESSON 3: A CLOSER LOOK 2
I. OBJECTIVES:
By the end of the lesson, ss will be able to:
1. Knowledge:Use the lexical items related to the topic “our Greener World”, Use conditional sentences-type 1 correctly and appropriately
2. Competences:Improve self-learning competence, creative, communicative and cooperation competence.
3. Quality: Ss can use conditional sentences-type 1 correctly and appropriately
to talk about ways to “go green”
- Have serious attitude to the topic “Our Greener World”, have responsibility for the environment
II. TEACHING AIDS.
T : Textbook, lesson plan, a projector, a laptop
Ss : Text book.
III. Procedure:
- WARM UP: ( 5’)
a. Goal: Students review vocabulary and check pronunciation and lead in the topic of the unit and new lesson.
b. CONTENTS :
- T divides the class into two teams.
- Have one student from each team to go to the board and stand back to the board to write some words on the board.
c. Expected result: Help students review vocabulary and check pronunciation and lead in the topic of the unit and new lesson.

Step 1: Transfering the learning task - T divides the class into two teams. - Have one student from each team to go to the board and stand back to the board. 2. Conditional sentences- type 1 Step 1: Transfering the learning task - T explains how conditional type 1 is used and how it is formed - Then let Ss read the examples in the table. Step 4: Conclusion - T makes sure that Ss can have a grasp of conditional sentences- type 1 | 1.Articles - There are two kinds os articles in English; the indefinite article (a/an) and the definite article (the) We use a/an - with singular countable nouns when we are talking about them in general. Example: An ant is a tiny animal -After the verbs to be and to have. Example: I’m a student/ I have an eraser We use the -With singular or plural nouns when we already know them or when they are mentioned for the second time Example: The bike in front of the house is nice -with nouns which are unique Example: the air is dirty
2. Conditional sentences- type 1 -First conditional sentences describe things which are possible and likely to happen in the present or the future If + subject + V (present simple), subject + will/won’t + V (base form) Example: If use use less paper, you will save a lot of trees |
