- Report the result to the class

- Teacher make sure that Ss understand the meanings of the new words.

Ex 1: Find these words or phrases in the text and underline them

Step 1: Transfering the learning task

- T asks Ss to read the interview quickly and locate the words / phrases from the box in the text. T has them highilight the words / phrases they have found

Step 2: Performing the task

- Ss do this exercise individually and then compare their answers with a classmate. 

Step 3: Discussion

- T invites some Ss to share where they have found the words /phrases

Step 4: Conclusion

- T uses slides, show the text with the highiighted words / phrases to prepare for the next activity

Ex 2: Match the words with their meanings

Step 1: Transfering the learning task

-T remind Ss to look again at the word / phrases that have been highlighted in 1

 and read the surrounding sentences carefully to get the meaning of each word / phrase, and then match the word / phrase with the given meaning.

Step 2: Performing the task

- Ss do this exercise individually and then compare their answers with a classmate. 

Step 3: Discussion

- T invites some Ss to answer orally

Step 4: Conclusion

- Confirm the correct answers. Ask ŠSs to give some examples with the words / phrases

Step 1: Transfering the learning task

-T has the SS read the intervoew agian to answer the questions, SS can underline parts of the text that helped them with the answers

- T sets a strict time limit to ensure Ss read quickly for information.

Step 2: Performing the task

- Ss do as appointed to answer the questions then compare their answers with partner’s 

Step 3: Discussion

-T calls on some Ss to answer orally, asks them to give evidence when giving the answers.

Step 4: Conclusion

- Teacher monitors and gets feedback
