Step 1: Transfering the learning task

- Divide our class into two teams, A and B. Each team chooses 5 members standing in line in front of the board.

- Give the first member in each line a message. Read the message carefully and try to remember it in one minute. Take turns to whisper that message to the next member in line. Then the last member in each line moves to the board and writes down the  messages   again.  Which  team is faster and writes the correct answer will be the winner.

Step 2: Performing the learning task

- Ss do as requested to complete the task

Step 3: Discussion

- Report the result to the class 

Step 4: Conclusion                              

- Teacher monitors and gets feedback

Message1: Soon robots will be able to do all of our work and we will live more comfortably. 

Message2: If robots do all of our work, we will have nothing to do and we will be lazier.

1. Tick the phrases you hear

Step 1: Transfering the learning task

• T ask Ss to underline the key words in each of the five given phrases

•  T plays the recording and asks SS to tick the phrase they hear from the corversation.

Step 2: Performing the learning task

- Ss do as requested to complete the task

Step 3: Discussion

- T asks two or three Ss to write their answers on the board.

Step 4: Conclusion                  

- T plays there cording again for Ss to check the answers
