UNIT 12: OUR TET HOLIDAY

LESSON 6: SKILLS 2 

I. OBJECTIVES.

1. Knowledge: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:

- listen for specific information about how Nguyen’s family prepare for Tet

- write things that children should and shouldn’t do at Tet

2. Competences: develop the competences of communication, cooperation and using languages and problem solving in doing exercises.

3. Quality: have a knowledge about preparing for Tet holiday

II. TEACHING AIDS.

T: Textbook, English room.      

Ss: Textbooks, notebooks, prepare the lesson at home.

III. PROCEDURE

1.WARM UP: ( 5’)

a. Goal: helps Ss to revise the content of th previous lesson

b. Content: Answer the question

c. Expected result: Ss can use the information they have learnt to answer the questions:

d. Performance: 

Teacher writes the USA, China, Viet Nam on the board and ask three Ss to write what they know about the activites of three countries during New year

- Ss answer then T lead into the new lesson.

2. PRESENTATION – Vocabulary of the previous lessons

3.  PRACTICE - While – Listening

a. Goal: to develp Ss’s skill of listening for specific information

b. CONTENTS : Ss Tick (v ) True (T) or False (F).

c. Expected result:  Ss finish the exercises correctly
