- Ask Ss to do them individually and check their answers with a partner before giving their answers to T to confirm the correct answers.

Step 2: Performing the learning task

- Ss do as requested to complete the task

Step 3: Discussion

- Some students go to the board write the answer.

Step 4: Conclusion

- Teacher checks and gives feed back.

I- Reading

Ex 1: Read the passage and match the heading

Step 1: Transfering the learning task

- T asks Sss to refer to the passage about Singapore in 1 and make a list of the places mentioned

- T allows Ss some time to fomr their own ideas of where to go and why they want to go there.. 

Step 2: Performing the learning task

- Ss work in pairs, asking and answering to find out where their partners want to go and why

Step 3: Discussion

- T calls on some pairs to present their ideas to the class

Step 4: Conclusion

- T asks some other Ss to give comments and decide which pair has the best presenttation.
